Woodsedge, one of 3 self catering holiday cottages on Kirkennan Estate, provides comfortable, accessible, dog friendly self catering accommodation for 5 in what was once Kirkennan's stable block. The cottage looks out over grass, fields and trees at the front and it has its own sheltered and enclosed rear garden with a lawn and patio (outside furniture provided). The cottage is ideally located to visit the numerous attractions of Dumfries and Galloway.Sleeps 5 in 3 bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin, 1 single) | Weekly rate £320 - £785
Up to 3 well behaved dogs are welcome free of charge.

Woodsedge self catering holiday cottage has a living room/diner with wood burning stove (initial fuel included) and a well provided kitchen. It is all on one level and has an accessible shower/wet room, an adjustable height Adjustamatic bed and an electric riser-recliner armchair. We have had a number of guests who use standard size manual wheelchairs, but please make your own judgements about its suitability for your own needs; see more information on how we have tried to make Woodsedge as accessible as possible and a full accessibility statement or feel free to contact us.

Guests are welcome to make use of all the Estate facilities including the walled garden (with table tennis table), the landscaped gardens, and Jock’s wood. NB: Small stream in Estate grounds, 50 yards, tidal river at edge of wood and fields.
