Once part of Kirkennan's stable block, Woodsedge is now a warm, comfortable holiday cottage looking out over grass, fields, and mature trees. Entirely on one level, it is perfect for families, guests with limited mobility, and dog owners looking for a peaceful base to explore Dumfries and Galloway.

The Living Space & Garden
The living room and dining area feature a traditional woodburning stove (initial fuel included), a Freeview TV, and a specialized electric riser-recliner armchair. The adjacent well-equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, and fridge/freezer. Step outside to your private, fully enclosed rear garden, complete with a lawn, patio, outdoor furniture, and a BBQ.
Bedrooms & Accessibility
Woodsedge sleeps five guests across three bedrooms: one double, one twin, and one single (a travel cot and high chair are available on request). To support guests with mobility needs, one room features an adjustable-height Adjustamatic bed, and the cottage is served by a purpose-built, accessible shower/wet room.

Guest Access & Estate Amenities
Guests have private parking for two vehicles (plus a one-car garage) and access to a Type 2 EV charger. You are welcome to make full use of the 74-acre estate, including the landscaped gardens, Jock’s Wood, and the walled garden with its table tennis table. Eco-conscious guests will appreciate our green biomass heating system and secure undercover cycle storage with E-bike charging points. (Note: There is a small stream 50 yards away and a tidal river at the edge of the woods).
